Concentrating solar has potential for rapid growth and offers built-in energy storage. ANU Dish designs, ammonia system and dish mirrors have been licensed for commercial implementation. A Generation 2 dish is coming soon. Solar gasification of hydrocarbons could be a big source of sustainable energy export income.
